Real-Time Geolocation: To display local pricing, the App processes the visitor's IP address in real-time. This processing happens "in-memory" to determine the country code and is not stored on our servers.

Browser Local Storage: We utilize the customer's browser local storage only to remember their preferred currency. This ensures a consistent experience as they navigate your store.

Smart Updates: While the App automatically detects location, customers always have the option to switch currencies manually. The local storage is automatically updated to reflect the most recent exchange rates based on merchant settings.

We adhere to the highest international data protection standards to ensure your store remains compliant and secure worldwide. Our operations are aligned with the following regulations:

GDPR (European Union): We operate as a Data Processor under the General Data Protection Regulation. We process data based on the "Legitimate Interest" of providing a functional, localized storefront. Because we do not store customer profiles or order histories, the risk of data breach is significantly minimized. Merchant account data is stored on secure, encrypted servers and is only accessible by authorized personnel for support purposes.

Merchants: You may request to view, update, or delete your account data at any time by contacting us. And when you uninstall this app, we keep your data analytics for some time, but settings and other things are not kept.

Customers: Since we don't save any customer information, we don't have any records to show or delete. This means your customer data stays safe and compliant because there is no customer data for us to share or lose.

At Qorix Currency Converter, we prioritize the security of your store. Our infrastructure is built on the principle of Data Minimization.

Merchant Protection: We only store essential merchant data required to keep the service running. This information is encrypted and stored on secure servers with restricted access.

No Customer Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or log any personal information from your customers. While our app detects a visitor's location to switch currencies, this process happens instantly in real-time and is never saved to a database.

Safe & Non-Intrusive: Because we never touch customer PII (Personally Identifiable Information), your store remains fully compliant with global privacy standards without any extra risk.

We may update this policy to reflect new global regulations. We encourage merchants to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Our service is designed exclusively for Shopify merchants and their commercial operations. Qorix Currency Converter does not knowingly collect, request, or store any data from children.

Because our app functions strictly as a currency switching tool and does not require user accounts or personal profiles from store visitors, we do not process any "Personally Identifiable Information" (PII) from children or any other age group.
